    Why not try crossfit-- you get some lifting but also the cardio? I have been doing it for just under a year and I am totally hooked

    I think you should find a fully equipped gym and a trainer to make sure you do not get injured due to improper lifting

    Most younger guys in the gym who look athletic or muscular to most of us are probably not happy with their body. They spend most of their time wanting to be leaner and/or bigger and not appreciating what they have. It took me quite a lot of mental work to not feel fat at 20% body fat, plenty guys in the gym will tell you that's fat when it's just not. On instagram what you see is women getting into that sort of mindset. It's healthier than just being skinny but it's still not a positive relationship with your body.

    That won't be everyone and more women lifting is a good thing but it's still something I think should be talked about.
