With all that goes on around here, the moderators certainly have their work cut out for them. So many posts, so many members, and so many topics! It's enough to make my head spin!

I know that depending on our individual circumstances, health status, heck, even blood sugars, our moods and attitudes aren't always in a positive place. We've all done it one time or another--typed something that got misinterpreted or flat out said something hurtful.

That's not what this board is about. Let's do what we can to make the moderators' jobs a little easier. Let's foster some positive community feedback around here. Let's work on edifying one another instead of tearing each other down.

As George Carlin said, "Be kinder than necessary, because everyone you
meet is fighting some kind of battle."

Thank you moderators, for what you do, day in and day out. Because of your hard work, this is a open and safe place for discussion. Without you, I'm sure we'd all be frustrated to pieces by now. Keep up the great work; you are much appreciated.

Thank You LightNLife.

It is a daunting task...to figure out when to stop, ban, or delete "adult" posts. I usually err on the side of leniency. Therefore it's appreciated when you can keep in mind the big picture and "foster positive feedback" among yourselves.

Thanks for getting us back on the kindness track.

I had a teacher in high school, who always said:
"You hurt enough people without realizing it, why try to hurt people?"

We have been creating, constructing and testing valuable, innovative and interactive community tools. Education, inspiration and expression are the basis. Support, education, hope are the mission.

Yes, a big "thank you" to the moderators- it's easy to take good moderators for granted, until you try interacting on a board with moderators who are lax, unpredictable, or control freaks . I always breathe a sigh of relief to find moderators like ours here... Thanks again for a wonderful site!!!

Just want to add my thanks as well to the wonderful people who make this forum possible. We have so much to be grateful for.

Personally, this forum has made a great impact on me. My health has improved and my knowledge of cf is ever growing not to mention the many people I have developed friendships with. I value all the people who contribute their experiences and their point of views.

We are a mix of many backgrounds with cf in one way or another binding us together. May we all continue to share with truth and honesty but tempered with compassion as we journey on with supporting each other.

Yes, thank you for all you do. I don't envy your position at all!

One thing that would make things less confusing when the moderators do step in & decide to delete things is if they would just edit the post to remove the offensive words, or heck, just lock the thread if it is all out of line, but not delete a single reply, or a whole thread (so it appears that nothing ever happened).

It is confusing when you see dialogue in a thread that refers to something that was said, you search intently for that "something" that was said, but to no avail, because *poof*, it has disappeared.
Or, when you're sure you saw a thread an hour ago & search & search & can't find it, then wonder if you're loosing your marbles or something and just imagining it was there in the first place.

Just an idea....

Thanks first for the compliments! They mean a lot.

Love the suggestions too.

Sometimes the "fastest thing" to do is delete a comment that starts a flame.

We are working on many new features for the site and one of them is dealing with just this type of thing.

We'll be adding more sections and ways to get there.
Public and Private sections.

Thanks and please keep the suggestions coming!

Since I probably haven't said it lately either.... I have benefited so much from this site and owe you many thanks for all your time and energies spent on us. Thank you Thank you.

okay I know it seems shifty to thank you and then throw in an idea...which would mean more work for you and i havent really thought it all out and I have no real computer knowledge so I have no idea how hard it would be. But I was wondering if it would be possible to creat a place where we go got to see if somoeone has let's say...a baby registry or maybe a wedding registry or if we had a little store where we could purchase or chip in on items being sent to someone in the hospital?

Alrighty then Like I said...I love this place. Thanks for all you do, and all you put up with
