Me again... Guess I"m full of questions today!

I've been wondering recently how exactly psuedo. arg. gets into our bodies to infect us? I mean, I KNOW its on almost any living organism and in soil, water, etc... but, my question is how it gets into our lungs to infect? Do we breath it in from being to close to soil or water (i.e. fog, mist, etc.)? Or, does it enter our bodies through cuts, etc...? Like, if I have a cut and take a shower or bath in water that contains p.a., am I more likely to get it? Or, is it purely something you have to breath in to infect lungs?

I know this may be a silly question, but I bite my nails and often have open cuts/sores, and then I do dishes or something, and I wonder if I'm increasing my risk. I already have it, but know there are MANY strains.

Anyway, any info. would be appreciated. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Like you said - its in EVERYTHING. Soil, water, air, etc. I could go on. We simply breath it in, and because our lungs are such a breading ground for bacteria to begin with, it sort of takes up camp and decided to stick around. That's the best way I can explain it, but I'm sure Amy or someone else might be able to do a better job!

Edited to add: the only thing I think you have to worry about with cuts and stuff, are those cuts getting infected. You have to breath PA in your lungs for it to settle there. I believe. Or rather if you keep touching your cut and then taking it to your mouth and it has PA on it, then you would breath it in that way.
