Welcome to you too brad! As far as chat time, we don't really have a time, although setting up one might be a good idea!?!?! I've lurked in there on a few occasions but just end up conversing with myself which can be a very long ordeal, but not very interesting .

Another CF site I visit, but don't really post much on does chat every night at a certain time, and then once a month (or maybe it's once a week) they'll chat about specific topics. Usually someone in the group suggests a topic and then the "owner" of the site picks which one to use and then they discuss it. Maybe we should try that here?

Posts are really active on he Adults forum and most times the family forum as well.

I hope you enjoy it here and find lots of friends and info!

Thanks for the congrats to Mark, Trista. He's excited too. And best of all, I get to see his graduation. I am in the Navy and it looked like I was going to be deployed in april and miss his graduation. It just dawned on me the other day (because we have been focusing all our energy on creating a family through IVF lately) that I will be able to be there.

Congrats on your daughter. There is a woman on this site, HollyCatheryn who has a website geared towards CF and female fertility. She is ALWAYS looking for people to share their pregnancy/birth stories that she features on her website. I hope I'm not dumping this info on you too early. Lately there has been a huge influx of young CF women who are inquiring about pregnancy. I know it has helped me immensely to talk to others who have been through what my husband and I are going through right now to start a family.

I am really glad that both of you have found this site (BTW, I talk... ALOT!!! )

Hello and welcome. I'm a few weeks new to this site and have been amazed with how nice it is to hear of others who understand the same CF stuff. I've never been to forums before and here I've learned a lot. I also don't feel as alone as I did before coming here. I hope you enjoy it as well!
