I've heard of it but never used it. MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides which are digested easily even when fat digestion is impaired. They are susposed to be pretty good for everyone especially CFers. I prefer using coconut oil for cooking and baking instead since it is naturally rich in medium chain fatty acids. I sometimes use coconut oil in place of butter to in my childern's sweet potatoes or in other things that are naturally flavorful so that it doesn't taste unusual. Susposedly it is good to just eat a teaspoon/tablespoon of coconut oil a day.
Anyway here is a link about mct's in coconut oil

MCT oil is a wonderful supplement. Our son had trouble gaining weight when he was and infant. I asked his nutritionist about it and she advised us of the amount to add to his formula bottles. Once we started adding the MCT oil, he began gaining weight consistently.
