Hi Folks,
I thought you'd like to benefit from the compendium of knowledge that I've gathered together into a collection of brief articles about nutrition. The topics are sort of all over the place. I've written from my own point of view as well as my experiences as a CFer who has been around plentyof dietitians and nutritionists in my day.

I know not everyone will share my point of view, but I hope these are informative at least in some way.

Happy reading and happy eating!

Thanks Risa,
I will certainly be posting links to my articles in here. I feel very strongly about nutrition and health and I've learned a lot over the years. As a scientist I have a lot of good background and can apply insight to what I read and make it apply on a more personal level.

I don't pretend to be a nutritionist by any stretch of the imagination. I know that thing that work for me may not work for others. Even so, I'm happy to share my information with the community in the hopes that someone may benefit from it.
When it comes to CF and nutrition, I consider myself a resident expect--albeit an expert only on MY body!

Happy reading and happy eating!

It is nice to read that others who have CF take their nutritional aspect seriously. I was always afraid of having blockages and eating junk foods never appealed to me. I never had any severe intestinal issues and I believe that is why my lungs took me far. As a transplant patient, my other organs are in great shape. By now, I should be having issues related to transplant drugs. My blood work could not be better. I say eating healthy is going to keep us all healthy. Of course the right attitude helps<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Hi Lauren, I just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed your articles. I am a fairly new dietitian and work at a Children's Hospital with the Cystic Fibrosis Center. I found that I agree with everything you have written. I feel like I still have so much to learn when it comes to being the best Dietitian I can be for all of my patients. If you could give me any advice for how I could continue to grow stronger as a CF dietitian I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks! Jennifer
