i don't know how much of a response you'll get, since lots of us CFers are underweight. While it's not healthy to be excessively overweight, when our infections flare up its very helpful to have a little more meat on the bones

Also, losing weight real fast is unhealthy. All teh speed diets just make you lose water, which you need (especially as a CFer) and you'll just get it all back anyway.

I think from a cfers point of view, its always healthy to be able to afford to lose weight. The reason is, if you get a real bad infection you have the weight there to lose. I dont think you should try and 'lose weight fast', Shamrock

The question is how much do you weigh now and how tall are you and how old are you. This will determine whats the best way to loose weight. Now if you dont weigh that much but for some reason feel kinda flabby, maybe you are skinny but lets say your stomach has a tiny pooch or you just feel you need some tone...thats also something you have to look at differently. If you want to just tone up a bit and not really loose weight alot there are certain exersises you can do to tone up (it makes it look like you lost weight when you didnt as well). So I say give a little more info on excatly what you want to do, how much you weigh, hieght and age so that we can help you better. That way none of us will tell you something that can hurt you.
