I HATE drinking water so here are a couple of my tips to make it a regular part of my day. If any of you have any to add, please do.

I finally found those little packets of powder you can add....propel or crystal light. Makes it much better tasting with no extra calories or carbs. The crystal light even has some added stuff for electrolytes.

Moms who have kids that always drink from your drink....I have the answer. My daughter always helps herself to my ice cold drink that I have just made or the one I take to bed with me. I don't really mind unless she is sick or if I am trying to get extra fluid in me and monitor how much I am drinking. So I found a water bottle that has a kind of hinge on it with cap that shuts the top. It also has a numbered dial on it so you can dial up how many times you emptied it. My daughter thinks that the dial is a "combination" and that unless you know the combination you can't unlock it to get the lid off. Problem solved I know, kind of sneaky; but, you do what works

Haaaa, I have to remember the "combination" bottle for when DD is older. Too funny. During the warm weather I put Nuun tablets in my water to flavor it (and for the salt).

I like to add Vitamin Water (the cranberry apple one) in with my bottled water. Im not much of a fan of plain water either, but when i mix half water and half vitamin water, its great ! Not too sweet, not too plain

I love water.

Love the taste of nice fresh cool clear water...... *slurp*

You could always drop your fizzy NAC tablets in water... it masks the taste.

Oh, the diet snapple packets are very yummy and a good way for me to get my 64 ounces of water a day. The fruit punch is the best and I mix one packet in about 18-20 ounces. You can find them at Walgreens for $2 for 8-10 packets. Also the wyler's raspberry sugar free one is good too and is $1 for 8-10 packets.

Can't beat that!

I love the Propel flavored water (especially Berry). I know it's expensive, but I'm so picky. Anyway, if you buy it from Sam's Club or somewhere in bulk, it's cheaper.

Where did you get the dial lid for the bottle? My son is four and is always drinking off my drink!

I got the dial lid in the sports section at Target.....fitness area I think.

Propel now comes in little packs that you can buy and add to water. Same thing....just cheaper!!

I just recently starting drinking more water, because like most, i find it a chore. But I have been pretty successful by drinking one whole glass when I take my morning pills and one whole glass at night for the same routine. During the day, I keep a filled water bottle on my desk when doing work, or in my pocket book, and always make sure that I have one for the road. I find I drink it if it's available. So I'm trying to make it available.

How much water do you guys consume a day? Do you have a goal?

I drink 102 ounces a day--about 6 bottles of Propel. This is a huge increase from a year ago. I'm not sure if it's because I'm breastfeeding and my body craves more water or if it's because I cut out caffeine and all soda.

i start out with 50/50 juice and water. then slowly decrease it so there's a little juice in there but mostly water. it flavors it a little, and so much cheaper than the fancy packaged water drinks.-not to mention much less sugar!

now when i drink straight juice it is sickeningly sweet to me

I try to get in the 6 to 8 8 oz glasses of water each day.
I know it helps my lung, I find that if I drink it while it
it still nice and cold I have no problem, but I let it get warm
I am less likely to drink it.
